Electric Vehicle Funding Opportunity and Webinar

Governor Kathy Hochul announced $8 million is available under the third round of the Direct Current Fast Charger (DCFC) program to install electric vehicle infrastructure in Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse, in support of New York State's climate and energy goals.

This round of funding under Program Opportunity Notification (PON) 4509 prioritizes areas that lack access to EV fast charging, including underserved communities, and supplements more than $7 million in awards under the first two rounds of the program for ChargePoint and EVGateway to improve access in upstate New York.

NYSERDA will be hosting a webinar for potential proposers to discuss this funding opportunity and proposal requirements.
