NYS Phasing Out Gas-Powered Vehicles

GTP_AMPED-C-0489.jpg

Electric vehicles are destined to becoming the primary source of light duty transportation for our region's businesses and organizations. Governor Hochul has signed legislation that phases out the sale of most combustion-engine vehicles by 2035.

Why does this matter to AMPED?

  • Banning future sales of combustion vehicles increases urgency on model availability to support NYS organizations’ electric vehicle needs.

  • More consumers will be interested in EVs and looking to their employers to install charging stations.
