Transitioning to an Electric Fleet Just Got Easier

It’s clear that electric vehicles are here to stay and the majority of fleets will be made up of EVs in the near future. The benefits include lower operating costs - both fuel and maintenance, elimination of dirty tailpipe emissions, driver satisfaction, and a cleaner work environment. But the thought of transitioning to EV fleets can be overwhelming, leaving many businesses and organizations stuck without a plan. New York State Electric & Gas (NYSEG), Rochester Gas and Electric (RG&E) and CLEAResult have launched a pilot program that supports fleet electrification. Businesses in the NYSEG and RG&E service area can enroll to begin their fleet transition journey.

Program Benefits:

  • Guidance from experts who have electrified many fleets

  • Identification of EVs that can meet your fleet’s unique needs

  • Total cost of ownership calculations to quantify financial benefits

  • Engineering support to scope out an EV charging project

  • Tips on making the most of grant and incentive funds

  • Development of an EV fleet transition roadmap
